No two days are the same at our care home. I have a huge responsibility to make sure that all our residents’ special dietary requirements are taken into consideration. Dietary requirements can range from food intolerances to personal dietary choices and health problems. As a chef creating an enticing, varied and balanced menu for their residents. I always take time to get to know our residents’ personal likes and dislikes so that we can tailor the menu accordingly. It is incredibly important to us that when people move to a Trimley Residential Home, they can continue to enjoy their favourite interests and hobbies and even try new activities. Our skilled lifestyles teams are guided by residents to make sure that everyone’s individual needs and preferences are taken into consideration so that there is something for everyone, whether it’s a group walk, a trip to the sea front, a cookery class, an embroidery Class, an in house Fitness session, or an interest that a resident may wish to pursue themselves …our mantra is that ‘anything is possible’.
